On Thursday, the 19th of January 2017 a number of Bidvest companies held the Bidvest Better Business Breakfast in the scenic Silver Ring room at the Greyville Racecourse in Durban.

The aim of the breakfast was to thank Bidvest clients in the region for their support and to educate all those in attendance about what companies now make-up the Bidvest Group while reiterating the consistency of their strategic approach to organic growth and acquisitions for 2017. Mpumi Madisa (Executive Director of Bidvest Group Limited) thanked the audience for their support during 2016 and gave an insight into the groups new position following the unbundling of its foodservices business and how it was poised for an exciting year ahead.

With Bidvest Insurance sponsoring a number of Sharks players and coaches, a riveting panel discussion and Q&A session took place after Mrs Madisa's address with SA Rugby legend John Allan (former Springbok and Scottish international), Ian Macintosh (former Sharks and Springbok coach) and Jacques Botes (former Sharks and Puma player) providing insights about the Springbok and Sharks and how they prepare for the 2017 season and what they believe we can expect from the teams this year. Approximately 370 guests were in attendance at the event which was MC'd by two time comedy show winner, Carvin Goldstone.
