STANLIB proves Success Follows Passion at The Raging Bull Awards

The Raging Bull Awards recognise excellence and celebrates the collective investment or unit trust industry in terms of top outright performers, best risk-adjusted performers and the best unit trust management companies.

STANLIB is proud to have been awarded the following accolades at the Raging Bull 2013 Award ceremony last night:

1. Best South African Interest-bearing Variable Term Fund – STANLIB Bond Fund – Victor Mphaphuli

2. Best (SA-domiciled) Global Real Estate Fund – STANLIB Global Property Feeder Fund – Keillen Ndlovu

3. Best Offshore Global Fixed Interest Bond Fund on a Risk-adjusted Basis – STANLIB Multi-Manager Global Bond Fund – Kent Grobbelaar

4. Best (FSB-approved) Offshore Global Fixed Interest Bond Fund on a Risk-adjusted Basis – STANLIB Global Bond Fund – Paul Hansen

STANLIB’s track record over the past five years:

STANLIB’s Fixed Income and Offshore propositions have been consistent performers and beneficiaries of various industry awards for several years. STANLIB Fixed Interest returns, relative to peers, have historically ranged between first and second quartile.

Over three and five years the STANLIB Income Fund, Bond Fund and Property Income Fund have remained in 2nd or top quartile in their respective sectors. The STANLIB Global Equity Feeder Fund came through strongly with a 2nd quartile performance, while the STANLIB European Equity Fund is in the top quartile over one, three and five years in its sector.

The STANLIB Equity Fund, STANLIB SA Equity Fund and STANLIB Balanced Fund continued their strong performance, with all funds in the top quartile over three and five years, while the Balanced Cautious Fund also delivered performance within the top two quartiles.

The STANLIB Multi-Manager All Stars Equity Fund is in the top quartile over one, three and five years, while their Medium Equity Fund is in either 2nd or top quartile over one, three and five years.
