Santam recogised as top short-term insurer in SA

10 March 2008 Santam

Santam has been accredited as the number one company in the ‘Insurance - non-life’ sector in SA in the second Top500 companies annual publication.

Ilse Pienaar, Associate Publisher at TOPCO Media, responsible for compiling the publication, noted that Santam had performed extremely well against strong competition.

Ian Kirk, Chief Executive of Santam, says: “We are delighted with our accreditation as the number one company in our sector and view the award as a tribute to the hard work and dedication of all our staff, as well as our network of intermediaries.”

Top500 is an annual business-to-business publication that identifies companies achieving the highest levels of performance and success within their industry sectors. It does this by researching the performance information of more than 5 000 organisations annually, assessing these organisations within their industry sectors, and finally by compiling a list of the top 500 performing organisations in 100 sectors.
