Sanlam Private Wealth named ‘Top Wealth Manager in SA’ for second year running

Sanlam Private Wealth has been named the top wealth manager in South Africa in the 2015 Intellidex’s Top Private Banks and Wealth Managers survey. “To receive the award for a second year running is an acknowledgement of the quality of our team, their continued hard work and our client centric business model,” says Daniël Kriel, CEO of Sanlam Private Wealth.

In what is arguably the only comprehensive survey of the wealth management industry in South Africa, Sanlam Private Wealth had the highest overall score out of a broad range of wealth managers. Out of a possible 25 points, Sanlam Private Wealth scored 21.9 – the company’s closest competitor followed with 20.8.

The research undertaken by Intellidex assesses each wealth management company against a range of criteria, including service offering, growth strategy, international presence and the strength of its brand. The survey is structured in such a way so as to guide potential clients on the company best placed to serve their individual needs.

From the five respective categories, each with a maximum score of five, Sanlam Private Wealth achieved scores of only 4 and above and ranked top three in every category. “This is a great accolade for our business and its people who make it happen for our clients,” concludes Kriel.
