Sanlam Investments scooped the award for South Africa’s Equities Manager of the Year at the annual Imbasa Yegolide Awards hosted by BATSETA at a special gala dinner in Durban on Monday evening. Every year, BATSETA, the Council of Retirement Funds of South Africa, hosts this prestigious event to honour and pay tribute to asset managers who demonstrate professional excellence in meeting the needs of their retirement fund clients.

Commenting on the win, Chief Executive of Sanlam Investments Institutional Business, Cora Fernandez said, “Having embarked on our client-centric journey over two years ago, we are proud to have received this accolade. It bears testament to the great teamwork and collaboration in our efforts towards delivering our investment promise to clients, in true Wealthsmiths fashion.”
