Prescient Securities recognised among South Africa’s leading analysts at 2026 FM Top Analyst Awards
Prescient Securities delivered another strong performance at the 2026 Financial Mail (FM) Top Analyst Awards, securing two category wins and seven top 3 firm rankings to reaffirm its position as one of South Africa’s leading independent, full-service stockbrokers providing execution, research and market access across equities, fixed income, derivatives and foreign exchange at scale.

Angela Puccini accepted both awards on behalf of James Twyman who ranked first in two categories
Hosted on 24th June by the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), with research conducted by Krutham and sponsored by EquityRT, the awards remain one of the industry's most established benchmarks of excellence in investment research.
Prescient Securities achieved top 3 firm rankings in seven categories, including two first-place positions:

Individual analysts were similarly recognised for their expertise and sector insights. While he was unable to attend the awards ceremony, Angela Puccini, Head of Corporate Access at Prescient Securities, accepted both awards on his behalf.
Commenting on the recognition, Twyman said: “In today’s environment, investors are navigating constant change and uncertainty. Our role is to cut through the noise and provide clients with clear, independent insights they can trust. To be recognised by the investment community is incredibly rewarding, and we are grateful to our clients and colleagues for their ongoing support.”
“These results reflect the depth of talent across our business and the consistency with which our analysts and traders continue to deliver value to clients,” says Stephen Heath, CEO of Prescient Securities.
“In an increasingly complex and fast-moving market environment, our clients value certainty. These rankings demonstrate our commitment to providing high-quality research, trusted market intelligence and dependable execution that help clients navigate changing market conditions with confidence,” added Heath.
The recognition follows continued investment by Prescient Securities in strengthening its research capability, expanding sector coverage and enhancing its trading platform to better serve institutional investors.
“This recognition not only validates our capabilities and disciplined approach but also demonstrates our commitment to developing local talent and shaping the future of the South African financial landscape,” concluded Heath
