Old Mutual honoured for service excellence at 2016 Batseta Imbasa Yegolide Awards

Old Mutual Corporate last night claimed two awards at the annual Batseta Imbasa Yegolide Awards, which took place at the Durban International Conference Centre. Old Mutual Corporate was nominated for four categories in the awards platform, which aims to honour and pay tribute to service providers who demonstrate professional excellence in their service of retirement funds.

Old Mutual Corporate won in the following categories:

• For the second consecutive year second, the Manager of Managers of the Year was awarded to Old Mutual Multi-Manager’s. This award recognises an investment manager who invests with, and actively manages, a blend of single asset managers on behalf of a retirement fund.
• Communications and Marketing Provider of the Year Service, awarded for Old Mutual Corporate Consultants communication consulting to Old Mutual SuperFund, and which recognises a provider who assists funds to communicate with, and educate members, employers, administrators and other stakeholders through a range of different platforms.

Old Mutual Corporate’s other nominations in the 2016 Batseta Imbasa Yegolide Awards included: Risk Benefit Underwriter of the Year and Overall Investment Asset Manager of the Year (for Old Mutual Multi-Managers).

Old Mutual SuperFund – our multiple award winning umbrella retirement fund, also received special recognition in the Member Education Fund Challenge for financial planning (making it the second consecutive year Old Mutual Corporate was recognised for its financial education capability).

According to Clement Chinaka, Managing Director at Old Mutual Corporate, the success achieved in the awards platform cements the business’ standing as a leader in the retirement industry. “These awards are testament to our client-centric approach and the skill of our teams across the Old Mutual Corporate segment.
