NetcarePlus voted as one of the Top Three brands in the Medical Insurance category at the Ask Afrika Orange Index® Awards 2023/2024

NetcarePlus was recently voted as one of the top three winners in the Medical Insurance category as well as one of the top 10 winners in the overall brand category across all industries in the Ask Afrika Orange Index® 2023.

NetcarePlus was launched in 2020 in response to the lack of access to affordable, quality healthcare for many South Africans. By drawing on the expansive Netcare ecosystem and footprint, it was able to introduce a game-changing offering to the market.

NetcarePlus offers clients an integrated healthcare journey, from prepaid healthcare products for basic day-to-day needs and medical insurance for unlimited accident cover and comprehensive gap cover as and when required, either for themselves or someone else. These products can serve as standalone options for those who are uninsured or as a practical add-on to existing cover.

The Ask Afrika Orange Index® is the “broadest customer experience benchmark in SA, measuring customer satisfaction, emotional satisfaction, and loyalty.” The index has been tracking customer feedback since 2001 and recognises excellence in client experience which serves as a benchmark for organisations to be measured against, across various categories.

This year’s index methodology involved a data collection process from June to August. The measurement for the medical insurance category was introduced in 2023 and serves as an important benchmark for the medical insurance industry in South Africa.
