MUA Honours Top Brokers

MUA Insurance Acceptances celebrated its top intermediaries during April with three prestigious broker award evenings held in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.
“At MUA we like to acknowledge the hard work of brokers and this was particularly relevant over the past year. These awards were our way of paying credit to a number of deserving brokers for their special efforts in 2015,” says Christelle Colman, CEO of MUA Insurance Acceptances.
The following awards were presented for the Johannesburg intermediaries:
- Home Broker of the Year 2015 – Thor Insurance Brokers
- Motor Broker of the Year 2015 – Twin Insurance Brokers
- Optimising Premium Income 2015 – Hamtern Financial Services
- Best Broker of the Year 2015 – Premium between R500 000 and R1 000 000 – Risk Sure Group
- Best Broker of the Year 2015 – Premium in excess of R1m – Envestpro Short-Term
The top intermediaries recognised in the Kwa-Zulu Natal region were:
- Home Broker of the Year 2015 – Missionary Medical & General Insurance Brokers
- Motor Broker of the Year 2015 – JD Cheshire & Associates (Pty) Ltd
- Optimising Premium Income 2015 – Dougall Insurance Brokers (Pty) t/a Crawford Dougall Insurance Brokers
- Best Broker of the Year 2015 – Premium between R500 000 and R1 000 000 – Vish Rajkoomar Brokers cc
- Best Broker of the Year 2015 – Premium in excess of R1m – Pendulum Insurance Brokers
And finally, the top brokers named in Cape Town were:
- Home Broker of the Year 2015 – Phoenix Risk Solutions
- Motor Broker of the Year 2015 – GVC Insurance Consultants
- Optimising Premium Income 2015 – Innovation Maven
- Best Broker of the Year 2015 – Premium between R500 000 and R1 000 000 – Megacover Brokers
- Best Broker of the Year 2015 – Premium in excess of R1m – Associated Insurance Brokers (Cape)
This special evenings were also used to say farewell to MUA’s esteemed CEO as she is stepping down at the end of May 2016. “I am extremely proud of my team at MUA and what we have achieved. I will remain one of MUA’s biggest brand ambassadors and I wish my colleagues the best of success in the future. Most importantly I would like to remind them to live up to our dream statement, that at MUA we work hard to shift the good life into an exceptional ride,” concluded Colman.
