MUA credits top Western Cape Brokers of 2010
MUA Insurance Acceptances, the executive motor and household insurance underwriter, recently named its top Western Cape broker at a ceremony held at the One & Only hotel in Cape Town’s Waterfront.
The event, which was held on Friday 25 February 2011, entertained 60 of the top intermediaries in the Western Cape.
“We hold these awards ceremonies each year as we feel it is important to take the time to recognise the hard work and dedication that brokers show to their clients. These awards are our way of paying credit to a number of deserving brokers,” says Christelle Fourie, Managing Director of MUA Insurance Acceptances.
The following awards were presented at the event:
- Broker of the Year – Phoenix Risk Solutions
- Optimising Premium Income – ABSA Insurance Advisors
- Best Motor Broker – SKYTIV Insurance Brokers
- Best Home Broker – DMKC Insurance Brokers

Fourie also said Phoenix Risk Solutions has shown tremendous growth over the last 12 months, in particular the company recorded the best overall growth to loss ratio in 2010.
MUA Insurance Acceptances will be honouring its top brokers in both Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal in separate ceremonies over the coming weeks.
