Liberty scoops gold at the BPeSA Gauteng Awards

Liberty customers have voted the company best in customer service in Gauteng

Liberty Holdings has scooped the Green and Wellness Award and Best Customer Service Award two years running.

600 of Liberty`s customers rated and voted the company best in customer service training. The company walked away with a trophy and R 25000 of customer service training.

BPeSA is the national coordinating body representing the interests of the business process outsourcing and offshoring sector in South Africa. The organisation aims to provide a national coordinated service to the industry and the awards are designed to acknowledge leading industry players within the various business sectors.

According to the South Africa Info website, BPO has been “identified as a key sector in the government's strategy to boost the country’s economy and create employment. Business process outsourcing and offshoring is forecast to create 25 000 direct and 75 000 indirect jobs in South Africa and contribute up to R7.95-billion to the national economy by 2009.”

We are proud of winning this award as it demonstrates our commitment to putting our customers first and investing in sustainable growth in the call centre sector,” says Sharm Naidoo, Divisional Director of Liberty’s Contact Centre.

Liberty beat MTN, Aegis South Africa and iChoices in the Business Process enabling South Africa (BPeSA), Gauteng Awards.

As the regional finalist, Liberty is in the run up for the BPeSA National Awards scheduled to take place in November
