Liesel Dentlinger, Liberty’s Divisional Director of Human Resources comments, “We are proud to have been rated within the top ten in our category this year and to have received our accreditation as a top employer over the past four years in which we have participated in the survey. We firmly believe that our success as an organisation lies in the quality of the people we employ. This award provides us with an important barometer against which to measure the effectiveness of our human resource strategies. “
Liberty is passionate about delivering excellence in its interactions with all its stakeholders including its staff. “We believe that by offering a compelling value proposition to our employees, which provides them with the necessary tools to grow and develop their careers, we empower them to deliver value to our customers and to the business,” says Dentlinger.
Liberty’s approach to its people is centred on the key areas which it has identified as critical for creating a conducive working environment based on insights gained through ongoing research and regular interaction with staff.
“By working together, we have identified a winning formula that attracts, engages and retains the best people through a combination of pay and benefits; talent management; talent development; talent innovation and a strong company culture,” says Dentlinger.
Liberty is always on the lookout for new talent and it’s Graduate and Learnership Programmes provide an excellent platform for the company to attract the right people to the organisation. Liberty is able to attract quality individuals with the right qualifications and who uphold the Liberty values and objectives.
