The winners of the prestigious International Advisers Best Practise Awards 2018 for the South African region were announced today at an award ceremony held in Cape Town.

Private Client Holdings, who won the International Advisors Best Advisor in South Africa award in 2017 was again awarded winner in categories for Excellence in Operational Efficiency and Excellence in Investment Planning in 2018.

The International Adviser Best Practice Adviser Awards were created to acknowledge global advisor excellence and are open to all authorized financial adviser / wealth management firms in various regions around the world. Launched in partnership with Old Mutual International, these awards recognise those wealth management companies within the industry that have made leading transitions towards best practice.

Grant Alexander, who founded Private Client Holdings in 1990, explains that wealth managers have witnessed unprecedented changes in the industry – with expectations, demands, economic and regulatory reforms all presenting new challenges and opportunities.

According to Alexander, research shows that many wealth managers are taking the decision to develop more sustainable business models, with the aim being to give their clients a more professional and consistent service experience.

“To be recognised as a company in South Africa that is leading the way in operational efficiency and investment planning in our sector is extremely exciting, and we are really pleased to have the hard work and dedication of our exceptional team and our company recognised.”

Director Andrew Ratcliffe said “This recognition by the International Advisers Best Practice Awards is evidence of our commitment to the financial well-being of the clients whom we serve. It stress tests the quality and resilience of the financial plans prescribed by the wealth management team at Private Client Holdings and it affirms that the company’s business strategy, marketing strategy, HR, practice and operations management and regulation compliance are all of the very highest standard. Last year one of our Wealth Managers, Mark MacSymon, was awarded the FPI Financial Planner of the year, this IABP award further highlights that Private Client Holdings is truly committed to best practice and nurturing our clients wealth.”
