InterGlobal wins COVER magazine International PMI Provider of the Year for the third year running

28 October 2011 InterGlobal

International private medical insurer InterGlobal has won the COVER Excellence Award, International PMI Provider of the Year 2011. This is the third year in succession that InterGlobal has won the top accolade. The award was received by Paul Weigall, Group Head of Sales and Marketing, InterGlobal, at an awards ceremony held in London on 6th October 2011. InterGlobal was also a finalist in the Individual PMI and Best Service award categories.

Four key factors made InterGlobal stand out for the judges. These are its wide range of offices in different countries, its excellent cancer cover and links to local PMI schemes, as well as the fact that the company undertakes its own underwriting.

The COVER Excellence Awards are designed to “highlight the dedication and hard work that all those across the industry have given to the sector, as well as recognise their invaluable efforts in ensuring consumers are fully and properly protected” 1. The awards are judged by a panel of industry experts, from a shortlist voted for by the readers of COVER magazine.

Paul Weigall, Head of Sales and Marketing, InterGlobal, says:

“Winning this award for the third year in succession underlines our commitment to delivering the best possible products and services to our members. We believe the COVER award is special, because the shortlist is voted for by the intermediaries who recommend our products. I would like to thank COVER’s readers for voting for us and for continuing to recommend our health insurance plans to their expatriate clients.”
