Keillen Ndlovu, STANLIB Head of Listed Property Funds, has been named Equity Manager of The Year at the 9th annual Association for Black Securities and Investment Professionals (ABSIP) awards.

Ndlovu heads up the STANLIB Listed Property Franchise, which has accumulated R20.4bn in assets under management (AUM). He manages the STANLIB Property Income Fund, which is SA’s largest and a top-performer, and has won several awards over the years, including Raging Bull and Morningstar awards.

Under Ndlovu’s tenure, the STANLIB property equity offering has grown. It now includes Offshore Property funds across both developed and emerging markets, as well as an Africa Property Fund (Africa including South Africa).

About Keillen Ndlovu

Ndlovu started his property career in 2004 at Standard Bank Properties working on the Leveraged Listed Property Product and partly doing listed property research. In 2005, Keillen became a full-time Listed Property Analyst after an inter-group move to STANLIB. He took more responsibility and assisted with managing of listed property funds in October 2005. He became Co-Head of STANLIB Property Funds and a full-time fund manager in 2008. He was appointed Head of Property Funds in 2010. Since joining the Group, Keillen has been part of a successful and consistent investment philosophy and process that has led to the property team winning numerous awards. He currently manages about R20bn of listed property funds for retail and institutional clients. Ndlovu holds a BCom (Hons) Finance, and CAIB (SA).
