Craig Farley, lead Fund Manager of the Ashburton Chindia Equity Fund, has been ranked 17th best emerging markets equity manager 2017 by Citywire, a leading independent information provider for professional advisers and investors globally.

The accolade, also called a Euro Stars award, is given to the top 250 from a database of over 15,000 managers monitored by Citywire.

Consistently ranked in the top quartile over one, three and five year periods, the Ashburton Chindia Fund placed above household names like GAM, Blackrock and T Rowe Price in the annual report.
Farley said ‘’The Euro Stars award is a reflection of the collective efforts of the team. I am delighted that the Fund’s consistent performance has been recognised, and continue to believe that a combination of China and India offers existing and potential clients the most attractive long term opportunity in an emerging markets context.’

In order to be eligible for the Euro Stars accolade, managers must have a minimum of three years’ track record as well as managing a fund which is available in three European countries.
