Chicago November 2009 : Firm Selected as Best Employee Benefit Consulting Firm, Best Reinsurance Intermediary, Best Captive Manager, and Best Retail Brokerage with Revenues in Excess of $250 Million

Aon Corporation, the leading global provider of risk management services and human capital consulting, today was recognized by the readers of Business Insurance in four major categories in the magazine's fifth annual Readers Choice Awards.

As part of the awards program, Aon was named:

  • Best retail brokerage with revenues in excess of $250 million
  • Best reinsurance intermediary
  • Best employee benefit consulting firm
  • Best captive manager (a new category in 2009)

"We are very appreciative that the readers of Business Insurance chose Aon as the best in these important business categories," said Gregory C. Case, President and Chief Executive Officer of Aon Corporation. "These awards are not based on revenue, resume or reputation. They are based on the readers' beliefs about which company delivers the most value to their business. Aon's 37,000 colleagues focus on delivering distinctive value to clients every day, and as a result, we are grateful for these honors."

Business Insurance launched the Readers Choice Awards in 2005 to let readers vote for the companies that they believe offer the best combination of service, value, quality and innovation.
