Zaida Mia joins the team at Ami

Zaida Mia has joined Ami Underwriting Managers as head of operations. Zaida has extensive underwriting and risk experience, having worked in the Brokers environments as well as the direct market with insurers such as Santam, Alexander Forbes (Momentum), MUA, Echelon and Old Mutual (Elite). Her focus is to deliver effective and easy service.

“I am excited to join Ami at this crucial stage of its pre-launch development and look forward to being part of the team that puts the Ami brand on the map,” says Zaida.

Zaida and Ami CEO Christelle Colman engaged during their time at Elite Risk Underwriters.

Zaida enjoys the ocean and outdoors, is married and has two university-aged children.
