At M&G Investments, we continue to see growth from the institutional client base across our local and global investment value propositions.

Consequently, in keeping with our client-centric approach, we are pleased to report that we have made two new appointments in our institutional distribution team as we continue to deliver service excellence while also focusing on our growth objectives.

Nkululeko Kunene joined M&G as Institutional Client Manager on 1 September 2023 from PPS Investments, where he
held the same role. Prior to this, Nkululeko also spent a number of years at Old Mutual Investment Group as a Channel Development Manager. Nkululeko is a CFP professional and has a PG Dip in Financial Planning from the university of the Free State.

Zintle Majeke-Ramotsoanyane joined M&G as Institutional Client Manager on 1 October 2023 from Vunani Fund Managers, where she held the role of Business Development Manager. Prior to this, she worked at Vunani Securities as a Transition Portfolio Manager and Equity Analyst. Zintle has a BCom Finance, as well as an Honours in Investment Management from the University of Johannesburg.

As Institutional Client Managers, they will be responsible for maintaining and further strengthening existing client relationships. They will report into the Head of Institutional Business, Naleni Govender.

“We are confident that our business can achieve significant milestones over the next three to five years given our ability to deliver unique investment solutions for local and offshore investors, with our deep understanding of both SA and global markets across various asset classes, including equities, multi asset, fixed income, credit and impact strategies,” said Govender.
