The GIB Group has announced two new senior appointments

Juliet Maullin, Head of Marine at GIB

Mike Church, Head of New Business Development at GIB

Juliet Maullin will join GIB as Head of Marine. She was previously at Marsh where she held the position of National Practice Leader (Marine & Aviation).

Maullin has excelled in identifying new business targets, formulating growth strategies, creating team awareness and compliance with in-country insurance legislation as well as compliance with compulsory marine cargo insurance requirements across the Africa region. She brings strong leadership and managerial skills to her role. Furthermore, she has forged strong, strategic industry relationships across local and international marine markets.

Maullin is a member of the IISA and has completed various advanced insurance and management programmes and training courses over the course of her career.

Mike Church has joined GIB as Head of New Business Development and will work closely with the senior management team.

Church was previously at Marsh where he has consulted on large account development for 14 years. He has a wealth of local and international industry knowledge and will strengthen GIB’s new business development and sales capabilities. Prior to joining Marsh he was CEO of Aon SA.
