STANLIB Asset Management is pleased to announce the promotion of Trevino Ramsamy to Deputy Head of Institutional Distribution, effective 1 January 2025, reporting to Tracy Coetzer, Head of Institutional Distribution.

This promotion underlines STANLIB Asset Management’s commitment to offering internal career advancement opportunities.

Trevino has almost 20 years of financial sector experience, having started his career in 2006 at Alexander Forbes, where he was ultimately Head of Alexander Forbes Investment Surveys. He joined STANLIB Asset Management seven and a half years ago, and before that worked for Liberty Group, within the Standard Bank Group. In his previous role as STANLIB’s Head of Client Solutions and Strategic Operations for the Credit Alternatives Investment team, he was a member of the Executive Committee and was responsible for, among other things, product development, strategy and change management.

Trevino holds an Honours degree specialising in Corporate Finance, Investment Finance and Strategic Management from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and has completed the General Management Program in Business Administration and Management at Harvard Business School.
