Senele Mbatha has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer, AIG Africa

AIG is pleased to announce that Senele Mbatha has been promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer, AIG Africa. Senele will be responsible for all the financial functions including Controllership, Financial Planning &Analysis, Capital Management, Actuary, Tax and Financial Operations for AIG across Africa.

Senele is a Chartered Accountant and has held a number of senior positions at AIG; his most recent role was that of Regulatory Controller for Africa, looking after the full finance function of South Africa, Kenya and Uganda. Before joining AIG, he was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young having progressed through the ranks from an article clerk. Senele has experience in numerous industries and exposure to a number of projects in a wide range of countries across Africa and Europe.
