saXum Insurance Limited proudly announced that it has appointed Leeann Minnaar as Head of Legal and Compliance at its Head Office in Gauteng.
Minnaar is responsible for the provision of legal advisory services and ensuring effective management of compliance and contractual risks.
Minnaar was awarded her Bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology in 2004 and a LLB degree by Rhodes University in 2007. She joined RSM Betty and Dickson in 2008 and later Nel & Richter Attorneys in 2010. After gaining experience in the legal field, Minnaar moved into the insurance industry. She was appointed Chief Legal Officer of Anderson Insurance Underwriting Managers in 2015 and as of February 2016 heads up the Legal and compliance department at saXum Insurance limited.
