Santam appoints Enid Lizamore as new Executive Head: Human Resources

Santam, South Africa’s leading short-term insurer, today announced the appointment of Enid Lizamore as Executive Head: Human Resources, effective 7 May 2018.

She brings extensive human resource experience, from her most recent positions as the HR Director for technology company Microsoft South Africa, where she was also a member of the Board and prior to that as Executive HR Head with Retail and Business Bank (RBB) for Barclays Africa Group Limited. Some of her earlier roles include Divisional Executive: Recruitment, Talent & Employment Equity at Discovery and as a Senior Human Resources Manager at The Foschini Group.

Enid holds a BA Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the University of Cape Town (UCT).

Lizé Lambrechts, Santam Chief Executive Officer, says: “Enid is a very experienced HR professional and I am delighted that she has chosen to join Santam. I look forward to her contribution to the strategic and operational design and implementation of people strategies that enable the successful execution of the Santam business strategy and growth.”
