Sandra Boy joins Aquarius

We are proud to announce with immediate effect that Sandra Boy joins Aquarius Underwriting Managers in Marketing and Business Development for Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Originally from New Zealand, Sandra commenced her 39-year Insurance career in 1972. The next twelve years saw her progress from claims to underwriting and then to sales and marketing at Protea Assurance, Johannesburg.
Mercantile & General Reinsurance Company first drew Sandra to Natal when they approached her to open their Durban office as local Manager in 1986. By 2001 she was appointed as Managing Director of the
BOE Insurance Company, which led to a subsequent relocation to Johannesburg.
In 2010 after being transferred to Cape Town as an Executive Manager and Director of the MUA Insurance Company, she resigned and returned to Durban. Since then she has be doing exploratory work for the LMI Group from Australia, with regard to opening in South Africa.
With Sandra back in Durban she’s the obvious choice to represent Aquarius. She has invaluable industry experience and a deep understanding of the KZN market. Sandra brings with her a wealth of knowledge that will benefit new and existing clients alike. We look forward to Sandra’s contribution to the AUM team.
