Returning to the fold

Kalil replaces Lance Katz, who resigned at the end of August.

Old Mutual Asset Managers Chief Executive Thabo Dloti said Kalil joined Old Mutual in 1997. After conceptualising and starting OMSFIN, he left in 2000 to assume an Executive Director role at Goldman Sachs.

Three years later he re-joined Old Mutual as Executive Personal Assistant to the Managing Director, Roddy Sparks.

Kalil's appointment is with immediate effect.
