Price Forbes recruits new resources

Price Forbes recently recruited three additional specialist resources to strengthen and grow their business in both the Johannesburg and Stellenbosch Offices.

Rudi Johnston, WJ Botha and Jurgen Crevits started their new chapter at Price Forbes in June and July this year.

WJ Botha has been appointed as Business Development Executive for Africa, starting on the 1st June. Botha will be responsible for sourcing new business out of Africa and will be focusing on marine, mining and transport clients from relationships he has built from his time living in Zambia. Botha will be based in the Stellenbosch Office and looks forward to playing a vital role in extending Price Forbe’s footprint across Africa.

Rudi Johnston joined the Johannesburg team at the beginning of July as Customer Relationship Manager to strengthen the Corporate Division. Johnston brings with a wealth of experience gained from his time at the Innovation Group and Auto & General in both mechanics warranties and motor claims. Johnston looks forward to servicing Price Forbe’s corporate clients and being a critical part of this growing team.

Jurgen Crevits also started on the 3rd July as an Insurance Specialist in Agri & Crop covering areas north of Johannesburg. Crevits will be focusing on growing the crop portfolio and sourcing new clients. He is looking forward to the challenge of exploring the broker side of the insurance industry, having spent eight years at Santam as Crop Area Manager. Crevits has the experience and insights from the insurer side with a diversity of knowledge on all products including tobacco, vegetables, fruit, maize, wheat, cotton and soybeans. He looks forward to the added value he will bring, further helping to differentiate Price Forbes from other brokers.
