PPS Investments appoints Head of Discretionary Fund Management

PPS Investments is pleased to announce the appointment of Luigi Marinus as Head of Discretionary Fund Management (DFM).

Luigi is a seasoned investment professional with more than 22 years’ experience spanning manager research, investment strategy and portfolio management. Over the past 12 years within the PPS Investments team, he has contributed across both manager research and portfolio management, playing a key role in strengthening the firm’s investment capability and consistency of outcomes.

Over the past two years in particular, Luigi has focused on refining and expanding the investment component of PPSI’s DFM value proposition. This has taken place during a period of significant growth, with the DFM client base more than doubling and the solution set expanding across both PPSI and external platforms.

PPSI offers DFM solutions to members via supporting intermediaries. It has a solid track record of seven years, recording substantial growth over the past two years. In recent years, the range has broadened meaningfully, with portfolios now available across multiple external platforms and soon on global platforms Working closely with the investment team and colleagues across the business, Luigi has also supported the introduction of Shariah-compliant and post-retirement solutions, complementing an already well-established suite of portfolios.
