Mutual & Federal appoints new Executive for Brand, Customer and Transformation

Mutual & Federal, South Africa’s second largest short-term insurer, has announced the appointment of a new Executive to lead the Brand, Customer and Transformation function. Nangula Kauluma joins the short-term insurer on 1 January 2014 from Old Mutual Emerging Markets. Her primary responsibility will be the delivery of the brand, customer and transformation strategies in alignment with the broader Old Mutual Group objectives.

MMI appoints Mary Vilakazi CEO of Balance Sheet Management

Financial services group MMI Holdings Limited (MMI) has announced the appointment of Mary Vilakazi as CEO of MMI Balance Sheet Management (BSM), with effect from 1 May 2014. Vilakazi replaces Nigel Dunkley, the current CEO of MMI Balance Sheet Management. Dunkley will be transferred to the MMI office in London where he will take up an executive role at Momentum Global Investment Management (MGIM), assisting the UK business with its strategic growth programme.
