ACORD announces three new Directors

ACORD (www.acord.org), the insurance industry's standards and technology organization, has elected three new members to its Board of Directors. The announcements were made by ACORD President and CEO Gregory A. Maciag. The new members are John Bruno, AON; Joe Dainty, Lloyd's of London; and Stephen Kessler, MetLife.

ACE South Africa promotes Milenko Skoro to the new role of Head of Distribution for Sub-Saharan Africa

ACE Insurance South Africa today announced that Milenko Skoro, Head of Sales and Distribution A&H, has been promoted to the newly created role of Head of Distribution, Sub-Saharan Africa as the company continues to strengthen its insurance capabilities in the region.

Steven Braudo to lead Standard Bank’s wealth businesses

Liberty Holdings Ltd (Liberty) announces that Deputy Chief Executive Steven Braudo has accepted the position as Chief Executive, Wealth for the Standard Bank Group, effective 1 July 2015, subject to regulatory approval. In this role, he will have direct management responsibility for the wealth businesses within the banking operations in South Africa, Jersey, Isle of Man and rest of Africa in addition to managing the bancassurance relationship with Liberty. Although Braudo will relinquish his executive responsibilities at Liberty, he will remain on the Liberty Holdings board.

New staff appointments and promotions at saXum Insurance
