Rukundu brings over 15 years of experience in short-term insurance, including more than a decade within Old Mutual Insure. His expertise spans the full insurance value chain, with a strong track record across distribution, underwriting, claims, and portfolio performance.

A qualified actuary, Rukundu’s appointment underscores the organisation’s continued focus on disciplined execution, sustainable growth, and strengthening broker partnerships within a competitive market environment.

His leadership is expected to further support Old Mutual Insure’s strategic priorities, particularly in delivering value to intermediaries and enhancing customer-centric insurance solutions.
