Old Mutual has appointed Jay Naidoo as a non-executive director

Naidoo is a former Minister of Telecommunications, Post and Broadcasting, and a former Secretary General of COSATU. He is currently the Chairman of the J&J Group and of the Development Bank of Southern Africa.

Old Mutual has also appointed the Group Chief Actuary of Old Mutual plc, Mukesh Mittal, as a non-executive director of OMLACSA. Prior to his joining Old Mutual in March 2006 he was Deputy Chief Actuary of Allianz Group, where he was also head of the life actuarial team. He joined Allianz in 2005 after 13 years of actuarial consulting in the UK and brings with him vast technical strengths and international financial services experience.
