Old Mutual appoints top advertising executive to board of directors

Old Mutual has appointed Nunu Ntshingila as an independent non-executive director of Old Mutual Life Assurance Company of South Africa (OMLACSA), with effect from 18 September 2007.

Ntshingila is currently the Chief Executive of Ogilvy SA, o­ne of South Africa's leading advertising agencies. Prior to this she was the chairperson and managing director of Ogilvy Gauteng.

In 2007 she was awarded the Financial Mail / Ad Focus Agency Leader of the Year award and was also o­ne of five women to be nominated Business Woman of the Year.

Ntshingila is also a non-executive director of Transnet. She was previously a non-executive director of Pamodzi Investment Holdings - a leading South African investment company - and served o­n the boards of the Media Development & Diversity Agency and the V&A Waterfront.
