Candice Danneberg.
Novare Group, the diversified financial services company and leading emerging markets investment adviser, has announced the appointment of Candice Danneberg as Head of Marketing.
She joins Novare from Sanlam Investments where she had worked as retail marketing manager since 2012.
Ms Danneberg had responsibility for developing marketing strategy for the retail arm of Sanlam Investments, focused on marketing and communication, as well as client acquisition and retention strategies to support the retail business.
Prior to that she worked at Glacier by Sanlam where she implemented marketing plans to support business strategy. In the process, she was involved in above and below the line activities. The latter included sponsorships, functions, corporate identity and internal marketing.
In 2013 Ms Danneberg completed the Sanlam Senior Management Development Programme at the USB Business School and, in 2014, the course on strategic marketing in emerging economies at the UCT Graduate School of Business.
She joined Novare in November 2015 with 18 years of financial services marketing experience and is based in Cape Town.
