Novare Equity Partners recruits analyst to identify African opportunities

Novare Equity Partners, the private equity fund manager focused on investment in sub-Saharan Africa, has announced the appointment of Zandisile Mabuya as Senior Investment Analyst.

Mabuya is responsible for conducting research into potential investment opportunities in Africa.

In 2003 he joined Profile Media as corporate researcher compiling fundamental research data on JSE listed companies. He joined Brait Specialised Funds in 2005 as a trainee research analyst before moving to BJM Securities as an equity sales trader.

Mabuya had been with Legae Securities since 2007 as an equity investment research analyst of companies operating in the telecommunications and food producing sectors, prior to joining Novare.

Derrick Roper, CEO of Novare Equity Partners, welcomed Mabuya to the team, noting that his skills would enhance the company’s ability to identify superior private equity investment opportunities in sub-Saharan Africa.
