Novare, the specialist emerging markets financial services company, has announced the appointment of Nancy Hoepner from January 2011 as marketing coordinator responsible for coordination of the overall direction and management of marketing, brand and event management, media communication as well as external and internal corporate communication. Nancy joined ECHO Events and Conferences in August 2007 as Senior Project Manager, managing client portfolios such as Emirates Airlines, Cadiz Financial Holdings and De Beers Marine. In June 2009 she joined Kalk Bay Foods as Project Manager before being appointed New Product Concept Developer involving client liaison with amongst others, Woolworths and Pick ‘n Pay.


 

Tamas Kulcsar joined Novare as head of manager research in January 2011. He is a CFA charter holder who returned to South Africa in June 2003 after a stint in London to join Innofin Management Company (now Glacier Financial Solutions) as a client services consultant. In 2004 he joined the company’s research team as an investment analyst and, in 2007, became a senior investment analyst responsible for manager research and sales support.



Novare announced that Francois Botha had joined the group as Investment Analyst in December 2010 after completing his studies at the University of Stellenbosch focusing on mathematical statistics and financial risk management. Until recently he was a part-time lecturer in statistics and financial theory. For his Masters thesis he conducted research into new methodologies for identifying and isolating manager and fund performance longevity. Francois is a member of the manager research team and assists with the due diligence of Novare’s local as well as international fund offerings.
