Novare Actuaries and Consultants, the independent implemented consulting firm in the Novare group, has announced the appointment of Sandile Soga as fund manager.

He is responsible for fund management and client servicing and joins Novare with five years of industry experience, and two years experience in project management. His previous positions include technical investment analyst at Simeka Consultants and Actuaries, and investment consultant at Momentum Asset Consulting and Momentum Manager of Managers.

Sandile holds a BComm (Hons) (Investment Management; Economics & Econometrics) degree from University of Johannesburg and a diploma in Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management.

William Moutloatse, chief executive of Novare Actuaries and Consultants, welcomed Sandile to Novare and noted that growth in the firm’s base of institutional clients in Southern Africa had made it necessary to expand its team of professionals who deliver specialist implemented consulting support.
