Novare Actuaries & Consultants appoints fund manager

Novare Actuaries and Consultants, the independent implemented consulting firm in the Novare group, has announced the appointment of Yolè Ras as fund manager.

Yolè joins Novare from Jacques Malan Consultants and Actuaries where she worked for the past four years, most recently as an investment specialist. Also a teacher of advanced mathematics, she is well versed in managing client investment policies and ensuring portfolio compliance.

Yolè joined Novare Actuaries and Consultants in October 2012 and is responsible for fund management and client servicing, as well as assisting the manager research team.

William Moutloatse, chief executive of Novare Actuaries and Consultants, said growth in the firm’s base of institutional clients in Southern Africa had made it necessary to expand its team of professionals.
