saXum Insurance Limited promotes Christa Roos as Branch Manager at its Cape Town offices

saXum Insurance Limited proudly announced that it has promoted Christa Roos as Branch Manager at its Cape Town offices with immediate effect.

Roos joined saXum Insurance Limited in September 2014 as Underwriting Manager for the Cape Town Office. It was saXum’s first branch to roll out the direct broker concept as well as its first to start using Footprint extensively. This is now a focus by which the company is moving towards.

Roos first started working in the insurance industry in 2001 where she commenced as an assistant to a broker. She then moved to Tourism and Travel Underwriting Managers as a Specialist Underwriter for the Tourism Industry and various Liabilities and later to ONE Insurance as a Senior Underwriter for the Liability Department before being employed by saXum.

saXum Insurance Limited welcomes Sandra McKeen as Receptionist

saXum Insurance Limited proudly announced that it has appointed Sandra McKeen as Receptionist at its Head Office in Johannesburg effective on 11 May 2015.

saXum through this move is ensuring that their client interface is further upgraded and enhanced. McKeen is not new to saXum having previously worked at the company as an Executive Assistant. She has a great deal of experience in administration and will eventually assume responsibility for front office operations. She has worked extensively in the communication and marketing fields and has accumulated a wide range of skills including IT and training. She is a qualified skills assessor and takes pride in being the first point of contact to saXum’s shareholders and customers.

saXum Insurance Limited welcomes Lisa Simpson as Engineering Managers Assistant / Office Administrator

saXum Insurance Limited proudly announced that it has appointed Lisa Simpson as Engineering Managers Assistant/Office Administrator with effect 10 May 2015 at the Durban offices.

Simpson will play an integral role in assisting the Head of Engineering in ensuring the efficient operation and running of saXum’s Engineering Department and will also be primarily responsible for the capturing and issuing of policies and the daily administrative functions.
