New deputy at FSB

Mashudu Munyai, partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, has been appointed new deputy executive officer, insurance of the Financial Services Board (FSB).

He succeeds André Swanepoel, who retires at the end August 2004.

Munyai studied at the University of the Witwatersrand and qualified as a chartered accountant. He served his articles with Arthur Andersen and Company.

Munyai's appointment will be effective from 1 June 2004 to enable a smooth

transition.
