New CEO, Non-Executive Chair appointments at Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa
Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has announced the appointment of Marelise van der Westhuizen as CEO, and Kevin Cron as Non-Executive Chair, of Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa Inc. These appointments, effective November 1, 2018, follow the retirement of Sbu Gule after more than 25 years practice.
Marelise becomes the first woman to lead Norton Rose Fulbright’s South Africa practice. A director in the commercial litigation team, she also serves as head of the firm’s risk advisory practice in South Africa. She was previously Executive Chair of South Africa. Kevin Cron is the Head of the South African corporate, M&A and securities team.
