New board appointment at Credit Guarantee

Credit Guarantee announced today that Dheven Dharmalingam has been appointed a non-executive director of Credit Guarantee Insurance Corporation from 1 January 2012.

On 1 September 2011, Dharmalingam joined Mutual and Federal as Finance Director of that company. He started his career in the audit profession with Arthur Andersen, where he was promoted to partner and served global and multi-national clients. He brings over 20 years of professional and commercial experience to the Group, gaining his commercial experience as financial director for a large logistics group and through a private equity and advisory practice which he co-founded.

Credit Guarantee simultaneously announced that Brian Laird-Smith, also from parent company Mutual & Federal, resigned from the board effective 31 December 2011.
