13 July 2004 Rianet Whitehead

Andrew Knight, MD for TransUnion Southern Africa has announced the appointment of Enrico Allasio as the new Financial Director for TransUnion ITC, a provider of business intelligence.

“Enrico comes to us with several years financial executive management experience,” says Knight, “and we are delighted to welcome such a qualified person to our executive team.

I am confident that Enrico will play a significant role in facilitating TransUnion ITC’s continued leadership in providing business intelligence services and products.”

Allasio was previously a director at Hewlett-Packard, serving for several years in both their UK and USA headquarters.

The experience he gained as a member of HP’s Global Finance Leadership team will be put to good use in the overall financial management and development of TransUnion ITC’s operations.

Allasio has degrees in Accounting and Commerce from the University of the Witwatersrand, and MBA from University of Cape Town and is a CA as well as a member of the Australian Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

In his spare time he enjoys astrophysics, golf and white water rafting.
