Centriq Insurance recently celebrtated a measure of growth and welcomed the following new staff memebers to its team.

Vivienne Hanmer – Senior Underwriter

An Associate of the Insurance Institute, Vivienne brings more than 35 years’ experience in the insurance industry where she worked for SA Eagle, Investec, BOE, Nedbank and Compass. Gaining extensive experience in claims, underwriting, reinsurance, from the view of the insurer as well as the broker, Vivienne’s knowledge of the UMA Model will be well utilised in her new role as senior underwriter at Centriq Insurance.

Thembeka Mngadi – Account Executive

Thembeka holds an LLB degree from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. He subsequently joined Alexander Forbes Services as an Account Executive in their corporate division giving him further insight into the insurance industry. Furthering his career in the insurance industry, Thembeka was appointed portfolio manager to the corporate risk solutions division of Guardrisk where he was charged with servicing the 1st party cell captives and mining rehabilitation book. He has joined the Risk Finance team as an account executive.

 

Babalwa Lungu – Client Accountant

Babalwa began her career at Sage as a fund administrator. Before joining Centriq Insurance as a client accountant, Babalwa worked at Momentum for 11 years; as an employee benefits and payroll administrator, then appointed as a risk analyst, a team leader of creditors administrators, and thereafter a financial accountant. This gave her great insight into the insurance industry, exposing her to a number of portfolios. She holds a national diploma in accounting from the University of Johannesburg as well as a BCom degree in accounting from UNISA.

Donata Sibanda – Client Accountant

Donata, a qualified Chartered Accountant, completed her SAICA articles with Nkonki Incorporated where she specialised in financial services audits. During her senior year of articles, she was appointed a supervisory role at Transnet Internal Audit consortium, working jointly with KPMG and SekelaXabiso. Upon the completion of her articles, Donata was promoted as audit manager. Given her insight and experience of the industry, Donata was recently appointed Client Accountant at Centriq Insurance.

Susu Nethanani - Client Accountant

Susu holds a BCom Accounting degree from the University of Johannesburg, as well as a Management Accounting diploma from CIMA. Beginning her career in the financial services industry at Business Partners as a trainee investment analyst, progressing to a relationship management role at Hollard before joining their finance team. Susu joins Centriq Insurance as a client account whilst working towards qualifying as a chartered management accountant.
