New appointments at InterGlobal

InterGlobal and Royal & SunAlliance have appointed Francois Keyser and Steven Conway as HealthCare Managers for their new co-branded operations in Singapore and Shanghai respectively, harnessing their wealth of international business development experience.

Keyser and Conway will focus on developing the demand for InterGlobal Royal & SunAlliance HealthCare Plans in these key expatriate markets.

Francois Keyser began his career in South Africa, working in retail banking and productivity and process analysis before moving into business development in 1995. He then worked for the Cape Town office of Discovery Health & Life, a Johannesburg-based health and life insurance company.

This was followed by three years with a leading medical assistance company based in Indonesia where Keyser achieved record results heading up development of the organisations financial services segment.

Steven Conway began his career with the Guardian Royal Exchange before moving into a management role with Motor Union Seguros, their Brazilian subsidiary, in 1994. In 1999 he relocated to Asia, becoming country manager for the Philippines office of AXA subsidiary the Union Insurance Society of Canton.

Following this, he worked for ACE Insurance as Country Manager then held various positions in health insurance sector in Thailand before joining InterGlobal.
