New Appointment: National Head of Benefit Consulting at Simeka Consultants & Actuaries

Riaan Botha joined Simeka Consultants & Actuaries in September 2013 as Head of Benefit Consulting and as a consulting actuary.
Before his current position Riaan was Practice Area Head: Pensions in the actuarial and specialised consulting division of NMG Consultants and Actuaries. He started his career at Jacques Malan Consultants and Actuaries, where he was appointed as Chief Business Officer in 2009, and General Manager: Consulting in 2011.
He holds a BCom (Actuarial Science) cum laude and a BCom (Hons) (Actuarial Science), and is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa. He is approved as a statutory valuator by the Registrar of Pension Funds for defined benefit as well as defined contribution funds.
