New Appointment: Elize Botha, Managing Director: Old Mutual Unit Trusts

Old Mutual is pleased to announce the appointment of Elize Botha as the new Managing Director of Old Mutual Unit Trusts (OMUT) with effect from 1 November 2016.

Ms Botha is currently heading up the distribution strategy and execution function for Ashburton Investments, spanning local, international, retail and institutional channels. She has 19 years of experience in the financial services industry and has been involved in crafting strategies and leading various distribution teams at some of South Africa's largest financial institutions, including the FirstRand Group, Alexander Forbes, Momentum and Old Mutual. 

Ms Botha, who has a strategic leadership qualification from Insead, also holds a BA in Law and an LLB degree, both from the University of Johannesburg. She will report directly to Kerrin Land, Chief Executive Officer of Old Mutual Wealth (South Africa).
