New appointment at Zurich Insurance

Zurich South Africa has announced the appointment of George Kostopoulos (41) as its new General Counsel and Group Company Secretary.
George, an admitted attorney, joins Zurich from Chartis South Africa and Chartis Life (formerly AIG) where he held the position of Regional General Counsel and Company Secretary. He holds a BA and a BProc from the Rand Afrikaans University and has a wealth of experience working in a corporate environment.
Guy Munnoch, CEO of Zurich South Africa commented: “I’m delighted that George will be joining our team. As General Counsel and Group Company Secretary, George is a member of the Executive Committee and reports directly to me. I have no doubt that he will be an asset to our organisation.”
