Nedgroup Investment Advisers appoints Larry Jones as CIO

"Developing the strength of the London-based asset management team has been a key strategy for Nedgroup Investments and we are delighted to announce the appointment of Larry Jones as Chief Investment Officer," said Andrew Lodge, Managing Director of Nedgroup Investment Advisers (UK) Ltd.

Larry has more than 15 years industry experience within both the UK and Middle Eastern markets, and was previously Chief Risk Officer and Senior Analyst of Attica Alternative Investments Limited (specialist alternative investment managers). Larry will be working closely with Andrew Lodge to further develop and enhance the existing investment philosophy and process.

Lodge said, "Larry takes over as Chief Investment Officer from Rowan Williams-Short who is returning to South Africa to spend more time with his family. We are delighted to confirm that Rowan will, however, continue to be a key member of the London investment team, within his new role as Investment Director. Rowan will work closely with Larry, focusing on strategy, asset allocation and product development, as well as the servicing of South African institutional clients."
