Nedbank Group appoints Abe Thebyane as the New Head of HR

The Nedbank Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Abram (Abe) Thebyane as Group Executive: Human Resources (HR). Abe has acquired almost thirty years of extensive Human Resources and overall business experience in various senior and executive positions, in several large corporations and across a range of industries. Some of his most notable leadership positions include Executive Head: HR, at Anglo Platinum Limited and Executive Director: HR at ISCOR LTD.

Through his experience in these executive positions as well as other HR and consulting positions, Abe has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the HR sphere. Abe started as a Human Resources Manager and therefore has knowledge and experience across the vast aspects of Human Resources. Some of Abe’s most significant knowledge is in HR Strategy, Skills Development, Employee Relations, Employee Diversity, Talent Management, Workforce Planning and Change Management.

Abe has a series of qualifications including a B.Admin from the University of the North, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (HR) from Wits Business School and a MBA from De Montforth.
